The DVAS are Toronto Roller Derby's farm team, where new recruits cut their teeth in the intense, fast-paced and (sometimes) violent sport.
As part of an effort to reach new players and a broader audience, this visual identity moves away from the rockabilly / pin-up / American traditional aesthetics which have typically defined the modern iteration of roller derby — but nor is it conventional, retaining the quirky outsider aggression the sport is known and loved for.
